Clarens Retreat Apartment

We had an enjoyable stay in Clarens just next door to beautifully laid out gardens, restaurants, pharmacy, coffee shops, and restuarants. Exceptional service, everything was clean. Had delicious breakfast at Treat:)))

It was perfect in general: compact room, perfectly comfortable location near a calm, peaceful and a quiet getaway. The breakfast was sensational at Treat and the staff was very efficient and genuinely helpful...

We were delighted with our stay at the Retreat. The apartment was beautifully decorated and had a cozy, homely atmosphere. The bedrooms were fine, and we were actually surprised to find electric blankets on the beds. The linen was crisp and clean, and there were even complimentary tea, coffee, rusks, and fresh milk in the fridge upon our arrival. The free WiFi was a great bonus for staying connected. we seemed like we were in a charming home away from home.

Room was tasteful, you can also find a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a microwave oven and a refrigerator. Warm welcome from host.

Overall the service was excellent.

I had the pleasure of indulging in delightful French-country cuisine made from fresh, local produce. The village's high altitude made for a refreshingly unique experience.

Nothing to complain about, unless you don't enjoy exquisite food and breathtaking landscapes.

a peaceful break in clarens, retreat exceeded my expectations. great room with under carpet heating, exceptional restaurant with excellent food. everything worked well, including tv, wifi, and generator during load shedding. the place was neat, modern, and home-like. very friendly staff and they exceeded my special request.

The accommodation offered stunning views and was well-organized and fully equipped. The owner was always available to assist with any questions or problems. The cleanliness and peacefulness of the accommodation were commendable. A return in the future is definite.

Stylish Self-Catering Units: Our unit had a cozy fireplace that kept us warm during the chilly winter nights. It felt like snuggling up in front of a crackling fire while sipping hot cocoa in a mountain cabin.

Rowdy Town Centre: Disappointingly, the charming town turned into a rowdy party scene filled with hooligans and litter.

The hotel's tasteful decoration created a warm and cozy atmosphere, making it a perfect retreat for seniors like myself. The common areas were well-maintained and easily accessible, allowing for comfortable movement throughout the hotel. The helpful staff ensured that I felt safe and welcome during my stay.

The only thing I would suggest for a better vacation for seniors is for the children working there to be more attentive and considerate to our specific needs.

The property was clean with daily cleaning service and included dishes. the cozy fireplace and beautiful garden were highlights. Spectacular mountain views. Close to a pub and restaurant. highly recommend!
